When young children ride 50cc dirt bikes they adapt to everyday situations that may occur on a motorcycle. Learning balance is a key aspect of starting out young on a dirt bike. Having the ability to balance at such a young age brings experience to the table. When they finally get the chance to ride a normal motorcycle, they'll jump right out and be able to balance that thing like a champion.
Learning a clutch can also be a pain in the you know what. If you can teach your son or daughter how to use a clutch at a young age, jumping on a motorcycle will be 10 times easier for them when they do grow up and get their own motorcycle.
Just getting the feel for driving a two wheeled vehicle around is super essential. You'll learn the inside outs of turning, balancing, slowing down, stoping, and just the little things that you wouldn't know without experience from riding.
If you have motorcycles and love riding them, and just had a new addition to the family, I suggest starting them off on a 50cc Dirt Bike. Don't wait till it's to late, start them off early, get them a nice helmet and some protective gear, teach them the ropes. When they grow up, worrying will be that much less if you start them on a 50cc dirt bike.
